How long does it take to get into ketosis?

What are the best times to test my ketosis?

I tested back to back but my readings are different, why?

Home meters replicate lab results with acceptable variance. Ketone measurement at low levels (below 1.0 mmol/L) may vary by +/- 0.2 mmol/L in back-to-back tests.
